Abstract
With the development of science and technology, the potential of augmented reality (AR) technology in the field of education is gradually emerging, especially in the teaching of modern and contemporary literature. The purpose of this study is to explore the application of AR technology in literature teaching and its influence on improving students’ interest, engagement and learning results. Through questionnaire surveys and experimental studies, data were collected on educators’ and students’ attitudes and expected effects of AR technology. The experimental design included control group and experimental group using AR technology and evaluated the teaching effect of AR technology. Data analysis shows that AR technology is significantly effective in improving students’ learning interest, comprehension, and memory retention. However, the study also found some challenges in the implementation process, such as technical training and cost issues. Ultimately, the study suggests that educators consider integrating AR technology into teaching and learning, and provides directions for future research to expand sample sizes and assess long-term effects.
