Abstract
During the use of a material shed in a coastal soft soil area, the settlement of the compacted threaded pile composite foundation was too large, and the bearing capacity could not meet the requirements of one-time stacking, resulting in the material shed being in a super-critical state. Bamboo joint piles are used to reinforce the composite foundation of compacted screw piles. Through numerical simulation, the deformation and stability of the composite foundation of squeezed screw pile reinforced by bamboo pile are analyzed, and the influence of bamboo pile sinking on the pile foundation of material shed is analyzed. The results show that the composite foundation strengthened by bamboo pile meets the design requirements; first, construct the three rows of bamboo piles near the column side to form a “retaining wall” with the original compacted threaded pile, and then construct the bamboo piles inside the “retaining wall,” which reduces the maximum displacement on the foundation pile near the composite foundation by 52%, ensuring the safety of the ultra-dangerous material shed.
