Optimization of innovation and entrepreneurship education model in colleges and universities based on the TRIZ method

Abstract

The current generation’s rapidly evolving global economy requires necessary education on innovation and entrepreneurship. Enhancing creativity and enterprising capabilities in college students is a rising concern that extends beyond preparing learners for job marketplaces. Based on the analysis of the theory of inventive problem solving, it is possible to improve the drawbacks of conventional training models and nurture the entrepreneurial attitude that has become critical for the modern business world. This study aims to discover the TRIZ approach can be applied to improve the current models of innovation and entrepreneurship education offered by colleges and universities across the globe. A total of 300 students in college participated, divided into two groups: Group A, which was trained in the TRIZ method, and Group B, which was trained in the traditional style of learning. Regarding innovation and entrepreneurship education, the concept fits in a questionnaire study for college students. The lesson plans incorporate ideas and concepts rooted in TRIZ to teach students critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills and to aid in cultivating an entrepreneurial perspective. Data collected from the survey were analyzed using SPSS software. It was found that the effectiveness of Group A is highly dramatic than that of Group B. The comparative analysis demonstrates the feasibility of the TRIZ method in making college students more creative and professional in their thinking process. This study gives a systematic, practical, and highly effective approach to the development of the students’ entrepreneurial potential, thereby preparing them for the global competitive innovation economy.
