Abstract
Face Shadow is a contemporary dance performance presented by the Zhiren Experimental Theater that utilizes masks and body rhythms as its primary expressive tools to explore the theme of aging. After its stunning debut in Guangzhou on 17 March 2023, the production has been successful in subsequent stagings in Chongqing and Shanghai, with the latest iteration titled Face Shadow 3.0 premiering in Zhengzhou on 16 March 2024.
