THE prevalence of hookworm (Ancylostoma duo denale and Necator americana), Ascaris lumbri coides, Entamoeba histolytica and Balantidium coli infections in the Seychelles over a number of years are reported. There is an indication of a reduction in the prevalence of hookworm and roundworm but an increase in Entamoeba. There has been no change in the prevalence of Balantidium coli.
