Abstract

The Journal of Orthodontics is pleased to provide the readership with the opportunity to obtain Enhanced Continuing Professional Development (CPD). After reading the articles, linked questions for the issue will appear in print and online. You will be able to answer the questions on the webpage: www.bosvle.org.uk
Should your answers be correct, you will then be able to print a certificate for up to 4 hours of CPD. This can be used as evidence towards your Enhanced CPD requirements. Greater detail regarding the process is as follows:
All BOS members will receive email notification of login details for the BOS Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Log in to the VLE and click on the BOS CPD section. Once in this section, click on the subsection Journal of Orthodontics Articles for CPD. Within this subsection is a link to the articles. Clicking on this link takes the user to the Highwire platform which provides access to online versions of the articles. Once the user has read the articles, return to the BOS VLE to complete the MCQ test via the MCQ link. The MCQ test must be passed before clicking on the CPD certificate link to generate the certificate. It is possible to have two attempts at the MCQ test. Once the certificate has been generated it can be printed or saved.
I hope that you find this service useful, and I would welcome any feedback you might have regarding any aspect of the process.
Yours sincerely,
Othman Hameed
