Abstract
King’s College London Surgical Society held its 4th Annual National Undergraduate Trauma Conference on 4th/5th February 2012 in King’s College Hospital, London. Its aims are to educate medical students on the diverse aspects of trauma and surgery, and it consists of talks from eminent surgeons, as well as workshops ranging from orthopaedic to laparoscopic skills. This year, 120 students attended the Conference from medical schools as far afield as Ireland and Pakistan. The eight leading submitted abstracts were presented as a poster-discussion at the conference. The three winning entries are published below (*presenting authors) with the overall winner’s prize being presented to Gemma Holohan.
