Abstract
An electromagnetic field representation in general uniaxial bianisotropic media (GUBM) in terms of scalar Hertz potentials is presented. While the attention in part I was restricted to source density distributions parallel to the distinguished axis of homogeneous GUBM the results are here extended to arbitrarily oriented sources and to GUBM which are inhomogeneous in one spatial dimension. Applications in the form of radiation and propagation are considered and the practical and technological importance of such media is emphasized.
