Abstract
The frequency-dependent constitutive relations of a simple uniaxial bianisotropic medium are stated as D = U · [εΕ + aH] and B = U · [βΕ + μΗ], where U = (I - uu) + q2uu, q>0, and u is some constant unit vector. Using an affine transformation, expressions for the fields in the source regions are derived for this medium. The derivations also yield expressions for the polarizability dyadics of an electrically small, bianisotropic object embedded in the considered medium, and may be used for constructing the extended Maxwell Garnett homogenization model of a wide class of particulate composites.
