Abstract
This paper describes the evaluation of dynamic magnetic force of a high Tc superconductor based on the flux flow and creep model. Numerical and experimental analyses were performed in order to investigate the dynamic magnetic force characterized by the high Tc superconductor. Measured magnetic force of an MPMG processed YBaCuO superconductor shows fast growth and decay as a result of motion of fluxoids. Computed results based on the macroscopic theory show good agreement with experimental results of dynamic magnetic force. Especially, it was confirmed that the fast growth and decay are caused primarily by the instantaneous flow of magnetic flux.
