Abstract
The effect of demagnetization on the current distribution in type-II superconductors is evaluated using a numerical code. The numerical results clearly indicate that the analytical solution obtained for the one-dimensional case is not accurate when a small magnetic field is applied to thin superconductors. Distributions of transport current are also successfully evaluated using the code. Numerical results based on the Kim model are also demonstrated and compared with those based on the Bean model.
