A complete set of equations for conducting magnetic fluids are given by the thermodynamical method that is based on the free energy and the dissipation function. The equation of energy is discussed thermodynamically and a concrete expression is given. Furthermore, a shear flow and a constant pressure gradient flow between two parallel plates are discussed.
