In this paper, we deal with Active Magnetic Bearing (A.M.B.) modelling and control. We propose a Non-Linear (N.L.) dynamic model of an A.M.B. taking into account the changeover of the power between the two coils of each actuator. A Linear compensator is first applied in order to test the accuracy of the model. Finally, a noninteractive control is applied in simulation and its performances are compared with the linear control.
