Abstract
Denize Christophers has been closely involved with the British Society for Music Therapy for 30 years. She began to work as secretary to Juliette Alvin in 1972, and took over the administration of the society after Alvin's death. Denize runs the BSMT office from her home in Barnet, dealing with thousands of enquiries from the general public, organising conferences and workshops in conjunction with the APMT, distributing the BJMT, and supplying books and information about music therapy to students and music therapists worldwide.
