Abstract
We sincerely thank those individuals who have served as a Guest Editor and/or Peer Reviewer for Vascular Medicine in the past year (August 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020), and we hereby acknowledge their valuable service to our Journal.
One of the greatest assets of Vascular Medicine is our multidisciplinary pool of expert Peer Reviewers, many of whom are vascular medicine specialists. VMJ sends hundreds of papers out for external review each year, and we rely heavily on our Editorial Board and additional Peer Reviewers to evaluate these papers and provide detailed comments. We take pride in obtaining timely, high quality, thoughtful reviews as a service to our Authors and Editors.
There were 252 individuals who served as a Peer Reviewer during the past year, all of whom are listed below. The Editors rate each review for quality and timeliness on a scale of 1 to 3, and most reviews earn a 2.50 or higher rating.
The ‘Blue Ribbon Peer Reviewers’ are recognized for their most outstanding contributions to the peer review process for our Journal during the preceding year (August 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020). These 14 reviewers accepted all invitations to review for the Journal, and they contributed six, or often many more, of the highest quality, on-time reviews in the past year.
