Abstract
Engendering evaluation refers here not only to the participants, but to the practice of urban and regional policy-making, planning, implementation, organization, and evaluation, which recognizes the different roles of women and men, their asymmetrical access to and control of resources as well as their varying practical and strategic gender interests. This approach may bring new groups into regional policy as well as enrich the current evaluation praxis and theory with innovative concepts, techniques, and indicators.
