Abstract
Museum web sites can be seen as realisations of early twentieth century artists' experiments in creating interactive cultural experiences. Our ability to sit at a machine in our home or office and download images of artworks, clicking and enlarging, is the kind of experience Frederick Kiesler dreamed of when attempting to create a Telemuseum.
