An Approach to the Teaching of Business Policy through Case Studies

Abstract

In a recent issue this Journal published an article by J. R. Nicholls of the School of Management of Bath University about the preparation of new case material. This article describes something of the methods of use of such case material within the Business Administration degree scheme. The theme is one of inculcating a sensitivity to the style and culture of the enterprise within its industrial context as a basis for better strategic management.
