This article is designed to provide an account of a pilot scheme to develop entrepreneurial skills among a group of Irish Managers. The background to entrepreneurial training in Ireland is covered in addition to a commentary on the infrastructure of the region where the training workshop was held. Details of selection criteria, curriculum content, workshop evaluation and results are included. Finally, a number of questions for further research arising from the study are raised.
