Abstract
The Victorian Association for Peace Studies is a group formed to foster serious public discussion on international issues and to encourage work and education in the area of peace studies. It is quite a small group with few monetary resources and its main base is in the academic area. Publicity is directed mainly to this area but attempts are also made to publicize issues and foster debate in the media. Other efforts are directed towards informing and influencing decision-makers in the areas of foreign policy and education.
