CILECT 1982: Television Training in an International Context

Abstract

The 21st Congress of CILECT (International Liason Centre for Schools of Film and Television) was held in Sydney in September 1982, with the Australian Film and Television School as the host institution. Representatives from 29 member organizations attended as well as nine observers, representing in all 21 countries. The theme of the Congress was Training for Television. Gill Appleton, who prepared one of the two major working papers for the Congress and was its rapporteur, reports on the results.
