95 subjects were asked how they first became aware of four TV serials, and when. Results indicated that mass media channels of communication were more effective in producing awareness of the programs, but regular viewers and early knowers were more affected by interpersonal channels. ABC serials had a higher percentage of regular viewers than the commercial serials.
