Authors examine the case-report of hip arthrodesis of the Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi of Milan.
32 cases have been examined with mid follow-up of more than 31 years.
Authors reconsider advantages and disadvantages of a surgical technique that now is almost abandoned, emphasizing the possible effectiveness of this surgical procedure in the light of knowledges of the prosthetic hip surgery.
