To report a patient with unilateral hemiretinal vein occlusion and macular edema who developed exudative macular detachment after grid laser application.
Methods
Clinical examinations, fundus photography and fluorescein angiography.
Results
Severe macular edema and exudation.
Conclusions
This case illustrates a previously unreported complication of grid laser application for macular edema in retinal vein occlusion.
