This paper pertains to the combined effect of thermal inertia and surface absorptance for solar radiation of exterior walls on the thermal behaviour of buildings in unsteady state conditions.
The calculations have been carried out for different absorp tance values and for outside walls of different thermal inertia.
The absorptance remarkably affects the temperature-time distribution of the peripheral walls and of the ambient.
