A study of business travelers from Korea and the United States was conducted to determine if differences exist in the importance placed on the criteria used to select hotels. The study revealed that there were many significant differences between Korean and U.S. business travelers in the importance placed on specific hotel characteristics. There was also, however, considerable agreement as to what criteria were most important when choosing a hotel.
