Abstract
A review of the OBRA/COBRA laws indicates a clear trend-the laws governing health care are undergoing significant changes. This trend, coupled with the incredible complexity of the laws governing health care delivery and payment for services, provides a fertile area in which unsuspecting providers may get “bitten.” This article will explore and summarize significant health care portions of the federal legislation commonly referred to as OBRA/COBRA.
