Abstract
The purpose of this article is to describe the importance of the discovery process in hospice/home health care and to show that this course is the key to an organization's strategic planning. These methods include such topics as technology and computer systems and their advancements. The article describes the importance of establishing basic priorities to keep an organization moving in a positive direction, while documenting each step of the operation. Technology, especially in software, is an important part of this process, particularly in the hospice organization, where increased productivity is achieved while designing a procedure that encompasses compassion for patient care.
