Patient care classification systems: A study in home care

Abstract

The author shares the results of a study that was conducted to determine the relationship between complexity of patients at home, nurses' estimated level of complexity, and the length of time per visit. While the study results indicate the need for more investigation, they can help agencies distribute human resources more evenly.
