The same marketing techniques that many home health care agencies are using to attract patients and cultivate referral sources can be utilized to address the problem of recruiting and retaining nurses and other health care professionals. The model that follows is by no means a magic formula or quick fix. What it does offer is a structured approach to solving staffing shortages through the systematic, comprehensive, and continuing application of marketing principles.
