This article focuses on strategies for treating a specific area of cognitive dysfunction and visuoperceptual disorders with the neurologically impaired patient in the home health care setting. Practical retraining tasks and functional activities of daily living that can be utilized in the home care setting are presented, with an overall gain in functional inde pendence as the goal.
