This article focuses on home infusion nursing care for the person with HIV disease. Included are criteria for patient selection, common infusion therapies, a model care plan, and information on possible resources available in the community. There are also suggestions for forming home care and community alliances to provide support for the HIV-infected patient and his or her family.
