Home care clinicians continue to pursue information to help them ensure OASIS accuracy for the benefit of their patients as well as their organizations. This year, new requirements have been established by CMS that are challenging for agencies and, in some instances, very complex. In the July 2011 Q&As, CMS provides guidance for some aspects of the new regulations, such as the face-to-face encounter, and further clarifies OASIS questions that remain unclear.
