Ethics in Home Care

Abstract

With the growth of in-home care provision, ethical questions have arisen. This articles looks at some of these questions for the purpose of discussion and awareness. Ethical questions arise from several facets of in-home care, including the paid staff/caregivers, the provider organization, the clients, and the family of clients, as well as the industry as a whole. This author shares information for the intent of increasing awareness and information sharing to the industry.
