Abstract
This study examines Law No. 6284 following Türkiye's withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention. It aims to contribute to advocacy efforts by formulating arguments in support of Law based on a feminist-informed explanatory sequential mixed-methods analysis of 106 individual application cases (112 decisions, 149 examined allegations) of the Turkish Constitutional Court. Drawing on four core arguments derived from analysis, the findings show that inadequate protection against male violence in Türkiye stems not from the law itself but from its negligent implementation. While Law No. 6284 must remain in force, its effectiveness depends on diligent enforcement that recognizes structural gender inequality.
