Abstract
The author explores her personal and professional intersections with the events of September 11th. This includes relationships and responsibilities existing in both spheres and the games she played filtering and isolating pieces of her life to protect herself. Not surprisingly, the author discovers that our personal and professional selves are inseparably intertwined. So in the end, she uses this bit of public space—in the aftermath of September 11th—to grieve for losses in both her worlds. She invites you to join in.
