Abstract
This content analysis of 17 Nigerian daily newspapers from 1980 through 1985 reveals the publication of about one story in 20 devoted to agriculture. Of these, the largest category dealt with general agricultural news and the smallest with pricing and marketing news. Unlike many other content analysis studies, this project finds a relatively low correlation between the length and number of agricultural stories, measured separately.
