Access to Information: Recent Legal Problems

Abstract

Although the last decade has witnessed major gains in the struggle by the press for access to public records and public meetings, there is still confusion. The author discusses such issues as “executive privilege,” statutory definition of public records, and statutory provisions for enforcement of access.
