Again,Too Few Graduates to Go Around;Salaries Up

Abstract

Eighty of 85 journalism schools report demand for their graduates exceeds supply, usually by big margins, although the number of graduates increased 5.4% over 1956. While starting salaries again increased on the average, those offered journalism graduates lag well behind those offered in other fields.
