Abstract
The circular relationship of press, public and elected officials is demonstrated by this study of Oregon legislative coverage. Mr. Valleau received the first master's degree “with honors” ever awarded by the University of Oregon School of Journalism. He is now editor of the El Centro (Calif.) Imperial Valley Press.
