Abstract
Wells believed that the novel, as well as the newspaper and the periodical, should be a journalistic medium. This article deals with the difficulties he encountered in carrying out this idea. Mr. Costa is director of public relations and instructor in journalism at the Utica (N. Y.) College of Syracuse University.
