Is “All-Cap” Copy Harder for Linotype Operators to Set?

Abstract

Experiments in the Newspaper Production Laboratory at the State University of Iowa indicate that there is no significant difference in the difficulty of composing wire copy as distinguished from ordinary typewriting. The author is a member of the Iowa journalism faculty.
