Abstract
History was written with a tremendous fury during the three months covered in this section of the bibliography. Communication media found themselves forced to look in all directions at one time — Berlin, Tokyo, San Francisco and Washington. The sudden death of President Roosevelt was followed in a matter of days by the passing from the scene of Mussolini and Hitler. United Nations troops scored victories on all fronts. And the San Francisco conference battled to achieve a formula for a brave new world. Many items in the bibliography refer to articles on how the agencies of communication covered great events. — F.
