Abstract
The press and radio received their most difficult assignment of World War II when American, British, and Canadian troops landed on the beaches of Normandy on June 6. A large number of articles listed in this bibliography described how the twin problems of censorship and news coverage were overcome.
Results of readership surveys conducted by newspapers and radio chains provoked interest and also argument.
Increasing interest was noted in the position of the newspaper both at home and abroad in the building of the civilization to follow the war.
