Abstract
This paper mainly studies the observer-based semi-global projection synchronization method between two hyper-chaotic systems. The proposed method is applicable to hyper-chaotic systems with immeasurable states. It is known that the state information of the driving hyper-chaotic system in practical engineering is often restricted by factors such as sensor deployment and cost constraints, and cannot be directly obtained. In order to achieve the semi-global projection synchronization of driving and response hyper-chaotic systems, this paper designs a collaborative scheme that combines a state observer based on the output information of the drive system with a nonlinear feedback controller. Furthermore, we propose a direct analysis method based on the solution of the error systems. This method not only eliminates the necessity of constructing the Lyapunov function but also simplifies the derivation process of the synchronization criterion, significantly reducing the workload and computational complexity. Ultimately, the numerical simulation results verified the effectiveness of the proposed method at both the theoretical and practical levels.
