Abstract
In this article, the author argues that the use of knowledge refers not to the information, not to the process of transmitting messages, but to the contents the knowledge conveyed by it However the delivery system is often mistaken for the knowledge it delivers, resulting in misplaced values Intellectual knowledge can only be acquired by people willing to exert themselves for the sake of becoming more knowledgeable and better educated Expressing his frustrations with miscon ceptions among vanous producers of knowledge, the author reminds them that equitable availability and distribution of benefits must be considered in the developmental stages of systems that disseminate knowledge Only then will the wise use of knowledge be encouraged for societal good
