Seminars, symposia, plenary lectures, special events, and a wide variety of other activities drew several thousand scientists, engineers, others interested in science, and science journalists to Denver, Colorado, 13-18 February 2003, for the 2003 Annual Meeting and Science Innovation Exposition of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Included in this report are some of the highlights of the meeting.
