Abstract
Seminars, symposia, plenary lectures, special events, and a wide variety of other activities drew several thousand scientists, engineers, others interested in science, and science journalists to Boston, Massachusetts, 14-19 February 2002, for the 2002 Annual Meeting and Science Innovation Exposition of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Included in this report are some of the highlights of the meeting.
