Abstract
The increasing complexity of the business environment virtually demands that upperechelon leaders seek nontraditional sources of knowledge in attempting to address emergent issues. The use of drama and classic literature can provide unique insights and important caveats for managers. Specifically, Shakespeare's Henry V is utilized as a case study which examines the behavior of a fifteenth century monarch as it relates to twentieth century leaders.
