Convergent validity of leadership and conflict management constructs was previously
examined by Lewis and Jobs (1994), and determination made that leadership and
conflict management constructs share much common ground. This paper provides an
update that outlines a program of research; adds additional insight into
relationships involving dimensions of leadership and conflict management, and
discusses implications for leadership training.
